Chaery Yoon is a Seoul-born, Berlin-based visual artist and creative technologist whose practice focuses on interactive, light-based visuals and real-time audiovisual environments. Coming from a sculptural background, she extends her artistic inquiry into digital forms by constructing immersive and responsive spaces through the use of TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, AI, sensors, and lighting systems. Her works explore human-centered phenomena and speculative narratives in the creation of emotionally resonant worlds through sensory storytelling and spatial composition.

Her visual language merges atmospheric abstractions with precise real-time control, often responding directly to sound, performance, and audience movement. For her, light is both the material and the metaphor, while intensity, rhythm, and texture are the sculptural elements that will shape emotional and physical presence across both physical and digital environments. She has presented her work internationally, in collaboration with experimental musicians, DJs, and performance artists.

In 2024, her VR work 'Luminal' premiered at Manifest:IO Symposium in Berlin, and a narrative version was later presented in TOO SOON TO SAY – Expanded Video Narratives, curated by Nebyula for VariousOthes in Munich. She also made a light-based campaign for RE:PUBLICA and has worked as a lighting designer for projects with Ableton, Creamcake, ASID, and LUNA. Treating light as substance and narrative conduit,
