Chaery Yoon is a Seoul-born, Berlin-based Light Designer and Visual Artist. She focuses on interactive, light-based visuals and real-time audiovisual environments. Coming from a sculptural background, she creates immersive and responsive spaces that explore human-centered phenomena and speculative narratives.
Her work reacts to the space and sound, translating architectural and sonic textures into atmospheric lighting compositions. Light is as both a material and a metaphor, while its intensity, rhythm and texture function as sculptural elements in both physical and digital spaces. She works with TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, sensors and lighting systems (GrandMA2/3, Capture) in her practice.
